Church Alive Colorado

In one word... relationships! Church Alive Colorado doesn't want to do church as usual. Our vision is to have a community of people, not just on Sunday mornings, but through out the week! We want to play sports, have BBQ's, watch movies, etc. Basically, we want to do life with one an other. People from every background and every history we want to be a part of your life!

WHO WE ARE!

We are a church plant from Church Alive! (wwwchurchaliveabq.com) in Albuquerque, NM
We are God's people sold out on Loving and Serving others!
We are a group of people dedicated to reflecting Christ in and through our lives in everything we do.
We are people that know that without love it is impossible to please God, so we choose to love as Christ taught in his word
We are part of His Church, the hope of the world!

What We Believe!

We believe that the Bible is the inspired, complete, and authoritative word of God and is the foundation for all that we believe as Christians. The Bible is a love letter from God: 66 books written by over 40 authors and is an integrated message system from outside our time domain.
We Believe in one triune God represented in three separate persons, God the Father, God the Son, and God Holy Spirit.
We believe that all things we were created by God the Son, who is the way, the truth, and the life. He is the living word and in Him is life, and in Him all things were created.
We believe that Satan is the enemy of God and because of his pride in thinking himself better then God works and strives daily to keep men from returning back to God. He is a liar and the father of lies and he is continually looking to steal, kill, and destroy anyone and everyone who opposes him in trying to exalt himself higher then God. He does this by disguising himself as good, and perverts all things that are good, deceiving others into believing and accepting what is evil as good.
We believe that all men are born sinners and as such our natures are evil and separate us from a Holy God.
We believe that the only way to bridge the gap and reconcile our relationship with God our Father and is through a perfect sacrifice of blood for the remission of our sins.
We believe that God the Son, Jesus Christ, was born of a virgin, conceived by the Holy Spirit, and sent by God the Father as a demonstration of His love for us, so that we would not die apart from God but be restored into full fellowship with Him. Jesus Christ sacrificed himself, gave up his life, that we might have life again, because we were dead in our sin. He was tempted in all ways as we are, yet He lived a life without compromise, without sin. His blood was the payment that was required for our sin.
We believe that after 3 days Jesus Christ was raised from the dead after descending into hell to take back from Satan the keys to death hell and the grave.
We believe that as sinners there is nothing that we can do to inherit salvation. It is only through the finished work of Christ's death and resurrection that we can be saved. We are saved only by the Grace of God through faith in His son, Jesus Christ. If we believe in the Lord Jesus, and confess Him as Lord of our life and walk by faith, demonstrating that faith by our love for others we will be saved.
We believe that our salvation is a process and should be worked out with fear and trembling of an almighty God.
