By now most of you are aware of the
earthquake that hit the impoverished Caribbean nation of Haiti
yesterday afternoon. While the damage is still be assessed, early
estimations warn of widespread devastation. More than 3 million
people--a third of the country’s population--have been affected, and
the capital city of Port-au-Prince is reportedly leveled.
As you likely know, Haiti is the poorest country in the western
hemisphere. Stores of food and water are scant, resources are few,
and infrastructure is shoddy to non-existent. It is our privilege
and our responsibility to help--this is why our church exists. In
the midst of all variety of darkness, Jesus’ light shines. What an
honor to get to hold the torch.
We have partnered with Denver United in
this endeavor.
Click bellow then follow the instructions there. Everything we give
will go directly to missionary partners on the ground in Haiti
helping coordinate relief efforts.
Please pray for the people and leadership of Haiti as they face the
overwhelming challenges ahead.

We believe that God is setting out people to partner with Church Alive
